I am humbled to announce that I have accepted a new role as Head Ninja in Charge at Dingling Brothers Circus.
When I started here as a Baby Ninja three years ago, I didn't have a title.
I had a dream.
And a 2-liter.
As a Gopher Ninja, I learned that leadership isn't about being the loudest voice in the room. It's about knowing when your ninjas need guidance—and when they just need somebody to make a Faygo run.
I'm grateful to every ninja who believed in me, especially the ones who didn't.
This next chapter isn't about me.
It's about the fam.

Proud to announce that Krispy is our new Head Ninja in Charge. He came up through Baby Ninja and Gopher Ninja, put in the work, stayed loyal to the fam, and earned the belt. That's how we do it at Dingling Brothers: recognize talent, build leaders, promote from within. Newman was part of that same strong class, and I know he'll join me in congratulating his old teammate. USA! USA! USA!

The route doesn't care who you know.
The mail either gets delivered or it does not. A route does not care who mentored you, which title somebody handed you, or how well you fit the company story. Every stop is measurable. Every parcel is accountable. I am proud to work in a field where performance arrives on schedule.

After a great weekend at Great Lakes Renaissance Faire, I came back to the office rested and ready for a full case calendar. Work/life balance is not a lack of ambition. Sometimes stepping away is how you return with the patience and perspective to do difficult work well.
I punch in every morning. Don't complain. Don't ask for a medal. Meanwhile, according to Rogah, some people got time to be over at Jim Walden's trailer at 1:30 on a Tuesday. Rogah wouldn't make that up. Not judging anybody. Just saying some of us are working.
By 3:15, a vendor truck was at the wrong venue, the talent bus had taken the wrong exit, a storm had flooded the west load-in, and half the building had lost power. We moved receiving, rerouted talent, rebuilt the run of show, and worked the contingency plan. Guests never saw the scramble. Doors opened at 6:00.
